Transcript:
“Plantar Fasciitis is caused by a thickening of the Plantar Fascia. As you get older, the Plantar Fascia actually loses its elasticity.
As we take a step, our Plantar Fascia is supossed to stretch out. And, as we age, the ligament no longer stretches as it should. So, as we step down, instead of stretching, the ligament actually tears a bit of bone off.
That tearing motion causes a lot of pain and can cause inflamation as well resulting in chronic pain when your walking.”
