What's causing you heel pain and how to fix it
Hi. I’m Doctor Florek. I treat PLANTAR FASCIITIS (the #1 cause of heel pain) in my office every day. In fact I have treated over 1000 cases of plantar fasciitis heel pain successfully. I want you to get better too and you will if you follow these steps:
- Stretch. The plantar is damaged because it is too tight. Stretching and massage releases the tightness allowing the plantar fascia to start to heal.Â
- Support the arch. When you step the arch falls pulling on the tight plantar fascia creating micro-tears which cause inflammation and pain. The best way to support the plantar fascia is with custom arch supports called orthotics.
- Treat the inflammation. Apply ice, elevate and treat with medication. Prescription anti-inflammatory medication is the strongest.
- Make and appointment to see a podiatrist. Some treatments can be performed at home but the best treatments like shockwave, custom orthotics, and night splints you will get in our office.
